Edmontree offers all the services required to secure a Tree Permit in Edmonton. Whether it’s a simple construction project or a brand new development, our professional staff has the qualifications and experience to secure the Tree Permits needed for your project.
In addition to Tree Plans, we also offer landscaping consultations. By utilizing existing mature vegetation, we can save you thousands in landscaping costs for a new development as well as reduce the landscape security you’ll be required to deposit to The City.
Our process:
Work with you to determine if there are any City Trees near your project that will require a tree permit, and which type of plan is required to be submitted
Complete a site evaluation to see if there is an opportunity to leverage existing vegetation on the site (if applicable)
Complete all required paperwork for Plans and handle the submission through The City of Edmonton’s online portal
Deliver you the Tree Permit once secured and explain all required protections for trees it applies to
Our Services
For projects involving construction, demolition, temporary access or laydown activities within 5m of a City Tree or 10m of a Natural Stand. Plans for sites of more than 3 trees can be completed at an additional cost of $150 per tree.
Required for work that involves ground excavation or grade changes within 5m of City Trees or within 10m of a Natural Stand. This Plan must be written or reviewed and signed by a person with an approved professional designation.
